I fixed my unemployment problem very quickly. I started my own consulting firm. I am the President and CEO. So now I do all the hiring and firing. But I have a new problem, I don’t have any business!!!! LOL HEE HEEE!

The problem with her contact method is most companies deliberately avoid direct contact with perspective employees via unsolicited phone calls. When I worked in a phone center, I got these callers all the time. HR would never accept these calls, so I routed them to a pre-recorded job line. If they called back, they got routed again since we were never allowed to hang up on anyone.
