2007 sees graduate starting salaries make rises in certain areas with best-paying employers being those for investment banking. Graduates entering investment banking jobs can command entry salaries of 36,000 with legal firms and business consultancies following close behind. By contrast, the lowest graduate starting salaries occur in retail and transport jobs, which often pay around 20,000.
